This type of termiticides is slow-acting because the termite must be able to get back into the colony before dying. Once the exposed termite gets back into the colony, it will be able to transfer the termiticides on the other termites as well. The bait system ensures that the entire colony will be killed because the termiticide will get inside the colony. Both methods have been proven effective.
